Plymouth City Council have moved the goalposts in relation to the Dementia Quality Mark System they introduced so we have decided not to formally participate in the scheme. However, we are continuing to embrace the principles behind the DQM without some of the paperwork. The home will continue to be regulated and inspected by CQC and the last inspection was in August 2015 at which time we achieved a GOOD rating. Plymouth City Council Social Services Department also visit the home annually to help us and check on our systems and records.
